Comments: Often you read and hear about them but, Giants are as enigmatic as they are rare.
Ball peels back an outer layer to reveal a little of what made David (a GIANT) tick...
Love or loath him you certainly could not ignore him or his contribution to his proffession and what it was to have him as a friend and a boss.

Comments: If you have met David this will bring back vivid memories. If you have never met him this book presents the best introduction to David Ogilvy.
I was fortunate to have met David Ogilvy during my tenure in Ogilvy & Mather India. He was in our office for 10 days. I remember how we kept a constant supply of chocolates for him.
When I met him in Paris David took me out to lunch. There after we went for a walk in Champs de Elysse. David was holding my arm and people were just walking past this legend! |

Pros: It is real and you visualise the situations described. I also got to know a new side of Michael Ball. |

Cons: After seeing some of the pictures I wanted to see more pictures. I also wanted to read more of David's famous memos. |
